Who We Are
Untold Story Behind the Story Foundation (UsbsFoundation) is a Non-Governmental Organization officially registered in 2019, though it began operations in 2018. The foundation was established to be a strong advocate for childhood cancer, support children battling cancer and other terminal illnesses, conduct medical outreaches, and provide empowerment and skill acquisition for orphans and vulnerable children. Additionally, UsbsFoundation offers humanitarian services to underprivileged children in rural communities across Nigeria.
Most of our previous interventions have focused on fundraising for children receiving oncology treatment at various recognized public hospitals in Abuja, chosen for their affordability. Our organization has also extended its reach to rural communities, IDP camps, and orphanage homes in Abuja to identify children with special health needs.
We conduct quarterly free medical outreaches for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and low-income communities lacking primary healthcare centers. Additionally, we offer free empowerment and skill acquisition programs at orphanage homes.
During our operational period, we have successfully intervened in over 30 cases of children receiving treatment for various types of cancer. As a result of our efforts, some of these children have survived cancer and are now living normal lives. Additionally, we have empowered 20 orphaned children with various skills and conducted 4 free medical outreaches in low-income communities within the Federal Capital Territory.
With your support, we strive to broaden our impact and save more Nigerian children. Donate
